On Sunday 11th March, Carnmoney Colts new under 11 team took part in their very first competition away from Mini Soccer. Upper Ardoyne held a tournament and our teams played teams from Shankill, Ligoniell, Ardoyne among others. Our teams held their own even getting to the final..and this was against teams that were a year older! We are very proud of all our players and have a special mention for Ollie who got man of the match for 2 matches! Also for Adam who got man of the match and almost top goal scorer.( decided by penalties) All the children received medals for playing fantastic. One of our teams even won the final…. now that’s progress!!!
Mini soccer continues to grow and we look forward to this new season and taking the players out as a new team. Go Carnmoney!
